Sleepy Willow Country Accommodation is conveniently situated on The Valley Road, between Stellenbosch (12km) and Paarl (12km), at the wine-growing foothills of the Simons Berg Mountain. The perfect location from where visitors can either explore the many famous Wine Estates in the area, or take trips to Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschoek and Cape Town International Airport only a 30min drive away.

WILLOW COTTAGE SELF-CATERING (sleeps 5) : Feel totally private and comfortable in this elegantly furnished two bed roomed cottage with its relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by rolling lawns, a lily pond and Weeping Willows, and majestic mountains only a short walk away, you can completely unwind in this natural setting! Willow Cottage guests can also relax at the beautiful pool on the farm or enjoy a picnic next to the Lily Pond. The neighbouring game park, stocked with Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland and herds of Springbuck, makes for an interesting outing. With the game fence and private gate only 30m from the cottage, you can view these animals at your leisure.

JONKERS HOUSE TWIN ROOMS B&B (sleeps total of 6 in three separate twin rooms on the adjacent farm): The Jonkers House, is part of a magnificent Cape Dutch Homestead with thatched roofs and white washed walls. Perfectly kept gardens in a serenely beautiful setting. Simplistic rooms, each with an En-suite bathroom and shower (over bath) and separate entrances. Feather down duvets and towels provided.

Game Viewing WILLOW COTTAGE: The neighbouring game park, stocked with Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland and herds of Springbuck, makes for an interesting outing. With the game fence and private gate only 30m from the cottage, you can view these animals at your leisure.

Bird Watching With more than 180 species already spotted at and around Natte Valleij, it is a popular retreat for novice and serious birders. If you keen on Birding, book a private birding tour with Patrick’s farther, Charles, something not to be missed!

Hiking Trails eautiful walks in the surrounding vineyards, mountains and neighbouring game park

Other Activities Many famous wine Estates are within 5km from us, including Le Bonheur, Warwick, Uitkyk, Kanonkop and Lievland

Farm Name/s:Natte Valleij - 22 ha
Farming Activities: Winemaking
Farm History: Natte Valleij is the original land grant for the area during the 16th century. The farm was bought by Sir Mordaunt Milner (Patrick’s Grand farther), during the late 1960’s and turned in to a thoroughbred stud farm. Many famous race horses have been bred on Natte Valleij, but have since been converted to its original state as a Boutique Wine Estate. See www.boerandbrit.com

Patrick & Andrea Milner warmly invite you to enjoy their hospitality and life in the country. Both are keen on sustainable living, with Patrick keeping bees for honey and Andrea growing organic vegetables for home consumption. They have three children, all born on the farm.
