Bruce and Frances' Morgan Bay Bed and Breakfast is the only B&B in the small coastal hamlet of Morgan Bay close to Kei Mouth on the border with Transkei in the Eastern Cape and offers a relaxing environment surrounded by lovely gardens and excellent sea (breaker) and lagoon views. This charming old colonial home is situated right on the beachfront and has two guestrooms and an outside bathroom that open onto a verandah and patio where full English breakfast is served. It is walking distance from the Morgan Bay Hotel where other meals can be enjoyed. (Click for a larger picture) Activities: Hiking Trails Enjoy adventurous day walks with your family along the Strandloper Trail or wander down to Double Mouth, in search of the prized Carnelian Bead or Ming pottery washed ashore from the Santo Espiritu shipwreck of the 1600's. Scenes of breath taking views, unspoiled beaches, awesome cliffs, meandering rivers and tranquil lagoons are a nature lover's dream. An abundance of Marine life (most of it edible) can be caught off this rugged coastline. In fact, appreciating these oceanic splendors comes highly recommended. Other Activities The seaside resorts of Kei Mouth, Haga Haga and Morgan Bay are situated within a distance of 7 kms. The pontoon across the Great Kei River provides easy access to the Wild Coast. Half day or three to four day's guided horse trails/safaris from Mkulu Kei Horsetrails Farm into wild coastal areas.
