The beautiful game farm Zyndrandt between Bela Bela (Warmbaths) and Modimolle (Nylstroom) in the Waterberg mountain range in Limpopo is a breakaway destination not to be missed in future!
Theunis and Carol have developed a unique eco destination and the first five of ten luxurious six bed safari tents with private Jacuzzis have been completed and offer excellent alternative nature experiences to visitors.
The tented bush camp, however, comprises far more than merely tents and no comfort, money or effort has been spared in development. Each unit is very private with electricity and comprises of a spacious wooden sundeck of 60 m² that hangs over the cliffs and with beautiful vistas of the Waterberg and the meandering Nyl River far below in the valley. Three and two bedroom units with quality furniture and wooden doors are available and the sleeping area comprises some 30 m². The bedrooms of the 8 sleeper units open to a large covered sun deck living area with roll-up sides and spectacular views. Six sleeper units also have spacious open sundecks.
Each unit is private and has a modern thatched kitchen with all facilities, a jacuzzi, braai lapa and full bathroom and open-air showers and toilets on tiles in a separate thatched complex. When completed, the whole camp will cover 20 hectares and also offer central conference facilities.
There are also three 4X4 tents on tiles with sundeck and sleeps two each in 3,5 x 3,5 meter tent on tiles with, kitchen, indoors shower, wash basin, loo, stove, fridge. (See own 4x4 web page on in farmstay.co.za)

Activities:
Game Viewing The farm presently has various game species, including kudu, eland, smaller buck species, baboons, leopard and others. An extensive game establishment programme is already in place and supports the broader eco plan
Bird Watching The farm offers excellent birding, including nesting Black Eagles and the beautiful Fish Eagle.
NYLSVLEI FLOODPLAIN – Zyndrant Guest Farm is in the upper feeding area op the Nylsvlei floodplain and the Nyl River runs through the farm. The Nyl floodplain is the largest ephemeral floodplain vlei in Southern Africa. When completely inundated, the wetland covers an area of over 8000 hectares. It is surrounded by bushveld savannah which is well protected in the Nylsvley Nature Reserve and on adjoining private land. Nylsvlei is one of the most important breeding areas for waterbirds in Southern Africa, and in wet years is transformed into a bird paradise when up to 10 000 herons (various species) and 60 000 rallids (rails and crakes) are present. At these times it holds the most significant South African breeding population of several species including Bittern, Dwarf Bittern, Little Bittern, Rufousbellied Heron, Slaty Egret, Lesser Gallinule, and Baillon's Crake.

Other Activities The reserve consists mainly out of Waterberg sandstone and a conglomerate of quarts mixtures. Tree species detected are the Wild Seringa also known as the "Pierneef Tree", the Wild fig, the largest fruited Bush willow, the Terinalia, Karee, Acacia, Cabbage tree and lots more other Waterberg savannah tree species

ZYNDRANDT IS situated quietly on a ridge, on top of the Waterberg mountains, gazing down with quiet expectation and in solitude, experience the sound of the deep ravines and gorges through which the Great Nyl River. The Nyl flood plains are situated to the North Eastern side of the reserve and are a well known RAMSAR and world wide conservancy area due to its magnificent bird life
